To be like my Father...

My dad is my hero-
He's the type of person I have always striven to be:
Kind, compassionate, loving, giving

He's the sort of person who would bend over backwards to help someone in need
It has never mattered the time or the place,
If you need him, he'll be there-
He's someone you can always count on.

I love how genuine my father is,
How he truly loves unconditionally,
His selflessness,
His heart.

He's always told me the greatest commandment  in life is to love God first & love others second-
He's a man who lives by his word.
 It doesn't matter if its his work life or his home life,
He simply loves just the same.

When it comes down to it,
At the end of the day,
My only hope in life is to be just like my father,
& to learn to love just the same.

Happy Father's Day, Daddy-
