I'm pretty sure this picture made my day
Awkward:

  • Asking someone to talk slower & instead they just get increasingly louder.
  • Hiding from a salesman when he comes to your door to then watch him from your front window going across the street to harass the neighbor while you are in your home laughing at the scenario and eating corn off the cob.
  • Ke$ha- She's so bad that I love her. I also enjoy singing her songs all day at work with BMac.
  • D. asking why it smells like soggy clothes in the house {I forgot about the laundry}

Awesome:

  • My breakfast burrito from this morning.
  • What I'm doing on Saturday: Walk A Mile In Her Shoes - Get Involved!
  • Dinners with the husband.
  • Turning on Pandora to have it play all my favorite old school songs.
How to Make 2 Dresses into 1:
  • Find 2 dresses you don't really wear anymore -
  • Rip the Seams to separate the top of the dress from the bottom of the dress -

  •  Once separated, hem the top to give an even edge to lay over the bottom piece

  • Next, attach the top and bottom together with pins and sew together- I overlayed the top onto the bottom since the top part already had a natural hem to it.

  • Since the dress was slightly too short for my liking, I took the extra blue material {The skirt part of the original dress} and gave my dress some length -

  •  & here is the results:
