DIY: Dress REvamp

This was a DIY project I got off of a post Kinsey did over at A Beautiful Mess and I was super excited that I had a dress similar to the one they used!
Here's what you'll do:
dress

1. Grab an old dress/sundress, some thread, a needle, a long strip of material, and some buttons
2. For your strip of material-- Make sure it's twice as long as the area your adding your scrunched material to- for instance, if the area you want to do is about 4 inches high, make the strip of material 8 inches long. Next do a simple up and down stitch along the side.
3. Once you have completed the stitch, pull the string to make the material bunch. Do the same thing to the other side of the material.
4. Once completed, adjust the material as desired and place on the front of your dress. Simply sew the corners of the material to the the dress and add buttons down the middle.
I absolutely adore the finished results...
and the dogs fighting in my picture.

xoxo,
Happy Memorial Day friends.
