I had an old cardigan that needed a little pizzazz.

Here's what I did with a few supplies laying around.

What You'll Need:

Cardigan
Scrap material {enough to cover the size of an elbow patch}
Scissors, Needle & Thread, Marker & Chalk

1. Cut out your design {I chose a bird if you haven't already guessed from the title}- Be creative!

2. Trace design onto material and cut out shape

3. Put on the cardigan and mark an "x" with chalk {or a small "x" with a permanent marker} where your elbow hits.

4. Pin the bird into place over the "x"

5. Sew a simple stitch around the edge.

6. Wear it!

So easy but one of my favorite DIY to date.

That's so cool...I wish I had the talent/time to do that. Brittany has a sewing machine, so maybe I can pick out the design and she can sew it! :)
