Lush Newbie & Steve Jobs

Over the weekend I had the chance to finally visit Lush over in Easton.
After my sister and friend Lauren raved on and on about it, I knew I had to visit.
Lush is a store that specializes in handmade cosmetics that are vegetarian/vegan friendly and they do not do any of their product testing on animals.
They also aim to keep their products truly all natural and the thing I love the most about the product is that each label has not only an expiration date (yes, this stuff is that real that it actually DOES expire) but it also shows the individual who personally made the product.
I had one of the girls there walk me around and talk to me about the products because I won't lie, it was a little overwhelming where to begin when I first walked in.
This time around I'm trying out their soap, shampoo & conditioner bars, toner tablets, moisturizer, color supplement (aka foundation), and some of their hair products.
[If anyone is interested in a little more specifics or the products I'm currently using, I'd be more than happy to share]
As of right now, I'm absolutely loving it!
I feel so clean each time I use the products and the soap I'm using makes my shower smell like caramel from Starbucks (YUM).

After a trip to Lush, D & I hit up the dinner and movie at Easton, which in my opinion is a great way to combine two incredibly awesome things.
We ended up watching Jobs with Ashton Kutcher and I won't lie, I loved it.
Yeah, it doesn't go into as many specifics about Steve Jobs life as I would have liked it to, but I couldn't leave that theatre not feeling inspired.
Steve Jobs was a genius, an absolutely incredible innovator, designer, and marketer.
In marketing we learn so many people can show you what a product is or how a product can benefit your life, but so many businesses fail to show the why of their product, the heart of it.
Jobs understood it, he believed it, he lived it.
And frankly, after looking into Steve Jobs life, I find it hard to keep living a mundane life.
After years of feeling like I don't fit it, that I feel different, its kind of cool to think maybe I can do something incredible.
I hope one day I too can leave some kind of difference on this world and the people who dwell here.

"Here’s to the crazy ones — the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do."
