Thanks so much for the nice comment on my blog! My favorite comfort foods are vegan mac and cheese and vegan chocolate chip cookies. mmmmm! OK, Brussels sprouts are good too, but when I want comfort food I usually go for something unhealthy.
ReplyDeleteyou are a awesome, I want to be a vegetarian so bad... but i crave protein when I go without. any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteIncrease beans into your diet! They are filling and they are a great source of protein :)
ReplyDeleteI try to increase foods with protein into my cooking along with beans such as eggs, dairy, and assorted seeds. I've found the more proteins I cook with, the less I miss meats. Plus, the longer you go without, the less likely you'll crave meats. Another alternative I've found is substitutes like the meatless chicken and veggie crumbles: they cook like real meats but they are completely vegetarian/soy products. I suggest the Morningstar or Veggie Patch products.
