Yesterday to celebrate the big 2 year birthday of our marriage we decided to take a little kayaking adventure. The weather was absolutely perfect and we didn't want to waste the pretty day being inside.
It really couldn't have been a better day.
After D beat me at our paddling competition, we then decided to get fancied up and go out to dinner.
D has been wanting to try the River Club Restaurant for a long time {the restaurant has this fabulous view that overlooks downtown Columbus}and we thought what better time than our anniversary?

The view was wonderful and the crab cakes {and the corn that came with the crab cakes} were phenomenal. We had a great time just sitting and relaxing. I told D I felt like I was back in Florida at one of their waterside restaurants; it was kind of nice to feel at home in the middle of Ohio. I think the whole day, kayaking and dinner, fit us so well. It was laid back but so special...so us.
Oh,
And we got ice cream at Jeni's
Typical us really, but hey, what's an anniversary without ice cream?!

Today's staycation agenda goes as follows:
+ Running
+ Gardening
+ Grocery Shopping
+ Art Museum
+ Climbing equipment shopping with Ean
+ Climbing (??)
+ FOOD

Excited for more staycation time!
