I didn't watch the trial but if I think I was on the jury I would have given the same verdict from what I saw on the news. I felt that the prosecution didn't meet it's burden to convince me beyond a reasonable doubt.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the entire trial-- but from what I saw I wasn't completely convinced that Casey actually was the one doing the killing...but there's not a doubt in my mind that Casey knew what was happening, when it was happening, and was probably involved every step of the way. She is guilty no matter what the jury says.
ReplyDeletei didn't follow the trial myself, and i don't know what to think, actually. she's guilty of something, but i don't know what or to what extent. makes me want to hold my own kids a little tighter, though, knowing that there's that kind of "parent" out there. not that i'm perfect.
