Oh friends, I have a little Columbus treat for you!
Yesterday D & I decided to try out a new restaurant in Columbus for breakfast because we are breakfast fiends and like to find all the good choices that are right around us. {Seriously, I think 9 times out of 10 I'm posting about a new breakfast nook we've found. I promise we eat lunch & dinner too!}
Plus, I had a coupon that I had found on Livingsocial.com for pay $7 get $15 worth of yumminess.
{Don't you just love a good find?!}
So this is how we happened upon the Angry Baker.

The exciting thing about the Angry Baker is that it was featured in the 614 Columbus Best Magazine for their unique breakfast sandwich. So, even though there were some fantastic sounding choices, D and I knew we couldn't pass up trying their French Toast Sandwich.
Here's what it is:
French Toast//Swiss Cheese//Turkey{I opted for an egg & it was delish!}//Covered with syrup
YUM.

Also, who leaves a bakery without buying some yummy bakery type treats?
Not us!
We decided to try their blueberry brownie and their Green Tea, Pomegranate mini cookies.
The cookies were my favorite- the flavors were subtle and the cookie portion was so tasty.

After we ate we finally went grocery shopping-
It's been a few months since our last visit.
No pictures really for that, like you'd really care anyway.

Next on our list was to visit the Hopewell Culture.
D has always wanted to visit it because it sports his last name.
No, he is not of Indian descent but the Hopewell individuals who discovered the remains may have been D's ancestors. {D says no, I say maybe}
So we hit up their little museum and ventured around the mounds.
The neat thing about this tribe is that they were so artistic and you could see creativity flowed through everything they did from pottery to their burial process to their head wear.

After our museum touring, I went and watched D play some volleyball.
Even though I moan & groan to D about sitting around watching him play volleyball all evening, I have to admit when I get out there I feel like such a proud wifey. That boy has some killer volleyball moves.
And when it comes down to it, I don't really mind {as much as I act like I do} going and seeing him play; that boy is pretty rad.
